He never complains about food and commented that it had no taste and the chicken was dry. Waffle #2 actually came out hot and much softer.

She was great and asked if I would like it remade. When our waitress came by to check on us, about 10 minutes later, she asked how our food was and I told her it was horrible. I broke it into pieces as my knife wouldn’t cut it. When the food came, my waffle was cold and as hard as a rock. The server said it would be up in a minute. About 30 minutes later we asked if our food was ready, considering a table near us came in after us and was almost finished. We ordered our food, rather simple items, a waffle with only fruit and a kale salad. I asked if she was the only server as she was running inside and out to wait tables. We waited quite a while for our server to come. They called and texted to let us know our table was ready. We were ok with that, thinking it must be a good spot. When we arrived, there was a 15-20 minute wait. We were beyond disappointed in our visit today. I expected more flavor from food in a location which is has a menu which is Mexican-themed and owned and operated by persons of Latin-American descent. She reported that it was a nice mimosa, but that the flavor of hibiscus was not present. The queso fresco tasted like blended, watery thousand island dressing. The black beans which also accompanied were alright. The spanish ride that accompanied them was basically red tomato-colored basic rice. They were basically scrambled eggs inside the deep-fried dough - lacking the advertised bacon and peppers described on the menu. My wife ordered one of their skillets and she reported that was very flavorful. The latte was good, but the tea was quite lacking any flavor. The menu was nice and we ordered a latte and a slow-brewed (8 hours) black iced tea. arrived, we were greeted by friendly staff and seated immediately - we apparently arrived before the typical morning crowd. We walked from Golden Nugget Hotel to this location and it was a pleasant walk early in the morning before the heat of the day set in. My wife wanted to visit this location for breakfast on our honeymoon trip to Las Vegas.
